The land has fallen
     to misuse
What once was king
     lays molding
     on the wayside

And the old folks
     taps their shoes
     in unison
In my day
In my day
Our hands were broken
     for the king
And pay came from
     the Holy Ghost

But the land has fallen
     to misuse
What once was king
     lays glowing
     in a florescent pyre

And the children
     shake their heads
     in unison
It's our way
It's our way
We shall never bend
     for any king
Please pay us
     tributes now.
